Robert
Bob was born and raised in Minnesota, but he moved out of state as soon as Jesse Ventura was elected governor. Bob is a simple man with simple tastes: a round of golf, a bottle of Jones, and a slice of pie are all it takes to make him happy. He recently took up disc golf, but still prefers "real golf" despite the fact that he's much worse at it.

Michael
Mike has recently lived in California, Florida, and Arizona, and moved north for a change in climate. He is a straight-edger, punk, anarchist and practical joker who loves to skate and play videogames. After trying to play an octopus on a turntable, Mike named it Buttons and adopted it as a pet. It now lives in his hot tub.

Samuel
Sam is a textbook narcissist with a penchant for putting others down. He's also often the only voice of reason in an otherwise crazy world. He hails from the Montreal region of Quebec, Canada where he was the synth player for a struggling indie rock band. The housemates are now pretty sure that magical creatures are in their midst. To those outside the house, however, Sam insists that he does not believe in elves (and has certainly never seen one).

Emilie
This raver chick from Britain lived as an American vagrant for a little while before settling in with the boys. She used to spend all her time at illegal parties and her money on the trendiest accessories. Now she's looking for a part-time job to pay her share of the rent.

"the elf"
The nameless, ageless, androgynous elf appeared in the boys' house to cheer up Sam one day, and he's been fairly elusive ever since. He's sure to pop up every once in a while, though.

Classic elf moment: Strip #38

Shrinky-Dinks
These magical little critters are connected with the elf somehow. Not much else is known about them, except that they now seem to be invading the house.
