Want to help promote your favorite online comic strip (Bob the Golfer)?

I am recruiting bold, comic-lovin' individuals to become members of the Bob the Golfer Street Team. There's no official organization or membership roster, but it's also easy to be a member! All you have to do is tell people about Bob the Golfer. And the payback is good too, because the more readers I have, the more enthusiastic I'll be about continuing the strip!

Special Limited-Time Offer for Street Teamers!
I have only a handful of official, first edition BtG buttons available. Instead of holding on to them like a greedy jerk, I've decided to send them out to my fans and street teamers. Act fast! Mail me a self-addressed, stamped envelope (SASE) and a few days later you'll have a couple of shiny round new friends. Please see the buttons page for more information.

Want to help out? Read on...
As a member of the Bob the Golfer Street Team, your job is to tell people about Bob the Golfer. Easy! You can do it at work, at home, at school, or online. Tell your friends, your enemies, your boss, your coworkers, your professors, or just people you see on the street. All you have to do is tell them about the strip and give them the URL. And if http://badsushi.8m.com is too tricky for them to remember (it can be), just write it down for them.
With your help, we can make the world a better place. Now go out there and share the love!

Remember, these are the URLs that you want to share:
http://badsushi.8m.com for the site when a shorter address is better (i.e. word-of-mouth, radio, phone), and
http://badsushi.8m.com/comic.htm for the comic specifically, or when the longer address is appropriate (i.e. online, zine, newspaper).

Fun Ideas for Street Teamers:
*e-mail me with your decision! Decided to take the plunge and join the team? tell me about it! I want to know who's on my side. You're already cool, so why not let me know?
*tell your friends. This is the easiest. You probably talk to your friends already, right? So tell them about the strip!
*e-mail other online cartoonists. The message could be something as simple as, "Hey, you should check out this strip Bob the Golfer. It's neat. The URL is ...". Try to personalize these, though. Read a few of their strips and comment on them as well.
*post to messageboards and forums. If you frequent any boards, mention it there. Or go to other comic sites and post to their boards.
*add the URL to your signature. Do you e-mail? Most e-mail sites and programs have a signature option that you can use to make a footer for your letter. Just paste the Bob the Golfer address in there- no explanation needed.
*slip it into print. This one's a little subversive. If you're involved with any kind of "press" or "media", even a school newspaper or campus tv station, sneak the URL in there somehow. Just don't do anything illegal.
*report back! Tell me how it goes on the streets. I can't know what you're up to unless you write.
Finally, remember to keep checking on the main page for news, events, and special street team projects.

These are only a few suggestions on what you can do to tell the world about Bob! You're really only limited by your imagination, and your amount of free time, and your budget, I guess. Blow it up!!
